Internship in MO360 Digitalization & AI in Production from September 2024 Full-time

Aufgaben Immerse yourself in the world of Mercedes-Benz and help shape the future of automotive production by becoming part of our MO360 Product Owner team. In this internship, you will have the chance to be at the forefront of digital transformation, with a special focus on Generative AI, a key element for innovation and efficiency in our global production network.
Our PP/DP department deals with the central design, implementation, further development and management of digitalization for the global production network of Mercedes-Benz Cars Operations (MO). Digitalization is a central component of the production system.
MO360 represents our digital backbone for vehicle production, which increases the efficiency and quality of our processes through the use of Generative AI and other advanced technologies. As part of a dynamic and young team, you will drive the conception and further development of MO360 applications and work closely with production and IT experts (https://group.mercedes-benz.com/innovation/digitalisierung.html)
You will face these challenges:

• Supporting the development of the product vision and roadmap for MO360 applications, with a strong focus on Generative AI (Product Owner role)
• Contributing to the identification and conception of new use cases for AI-based digitalization in production (Business Analyst role)
• Analyzing large amounts of data and designing analysis and reporting solutions to support data-driven decisions (Data Scientist role)
• Developing and maintaining a data strategy that uses Generative AI to systematically link technical data points (System Architect role)
• Supporting the release process of new application versions, including testing and release management (IT product tester role)

Qualifikationen

• Degree in technology, engineering or information science, ideally related to digitization, data science, computer science or related fields
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Above-average commitment and willingness to learn
• Reliability and an organized way of working
• Initiative and an analytical mindset
• Strong communication skills and a structured approach to work
• Ability to work in a team and an open approach
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive change independently
