As part of your internship in Advanced Analytics & AI, you will be assigned the following exciting tasks:

• Support the implementation of digitization projects in the areas of Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence
• Assistance in identification, analysis, and evaluation of top-down/bottom-up process optimization potentials through qualitative and quantitative analyses as well as requirements engineering and rapid prototyping (Power BI/Python stack in Azure environment).
• Development of high-quality analytics products and implementation of GenAI in the system landscape
• Responsibility for data analysis from conceptualization through modeling to implementation using advanced analytics methods (data mining, machine learning, neural networks, etc.)
• Insights into the application of agile software development methods and collaboration with international teams and the selection and collaboration with external development partners
• Co- design of strategic, cross-functional data models for use in multiple analytics projects and integration into a project-spanning data layer.
• Identify and formulate the topic for an external Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis with Mercedes-Benz

Qualifikationen

• Studies in technical, mathematical or business-related field
• First practical experience in process analysis and optimization or software development in a dynamic-analytical work environment and in the implementation of digitalization projects.
• Programming language skills in relevant data science area (Python, R) on large data processing frameworks (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabrics, DataBricks, etc.)
• Strong strategic, conceptual, methodological, and organizational skills.
• Exceptionally high analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong technical and digital understanding
• Strong teamwork skills and enthusiasm for cross-functional project work
• Curiosity and a desire to explore technological advancements in the cloud, analytics, and AI domains
• Strong desire for innovation, creative problem-solving, and a hands-on mentality
• Fluent in both German and English
