Our department is responsible for and supports internal consulting projects for the product management of Mercedes Benz AG and its functions: strategic vehicle projects & innovations, supply logic, vehicle components, powertrain, product information/CGI as well as market research & competitive analysis. We live the way of working of an agile consulting agency in the midst of an innovative large corporation. As a specialized in-house consultancy, we realize ideas, impulses & innovations for vehicles and sales processes of the future. We work closely with our internal partners from other specialist areas (e.g. vehicle project, design, development, quality management, communication and marketing) as well as the global sales organizations
In addition to strategic projects on topics such as digital transformation or product strategy, we continuously initiate change management measures or organize large internal and international product events
The large number of different projects gives you a comprehensive insight into a wide range of areas and processes
Your tasks:

• You will be responsible for developing a GenAI-based solution for a specific use case from product management as well as market research & competitive analysis.
• You will be part of our design thinking processes and analyses
• You are responsible for independent work packages continuously and independently
• You will support the further development & application of business intelligence systems
• During your internship, you will also have the opportunity to support us in several of our projects – according to your specific aptitude but of course also your preferences
• You also have an eye for effective and impressive design concepts and bring your creative skills and your high quality standards for innovative design to us

Qualifikationen

• You are studying for a STEM Master’s degree with a focus on computer science or software engineering or development
• You are very interested in the topic of GenAI and already have knowledge of common AI methods
• You have experience with relevant programming languages such as Python, Pytorch, Langchain, C#
• You have experience in IT projects, project management or UI/UX and media design (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop)
• You are comfortable with analytical thinking as well as conceptual freedom for new ideas/designs
• You are characterized by a strategic goal orientation and a high level of commitment and, despite your attention to detail, you do not lose sight of the essentials
• You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
