Position Summary

The AI/ML team in entertainment service and technology is at the frontline of evolution in signal processing field at Sony. You will join the small team, exceptional-talent group of software engineers, machine learning engineers, signal processing engineers and AI/ML architect. About our work, we have two contributions. The first is that tasked with enhancing user experience of consumer products (headphones, TV, home theater, or other new ones) through the new technology. The second is play a part in the next revolution of signal processing algorithm based on ML systems to break new ground.

Responsibilities

– As an AI/ML Software Engineer, create new ways of AI/ML applications.
– Rapid algorithm prototyping and implementation using Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript or Python.
– Work closely with signal processing engineer, hardware engineers, and product planners.

– Become a worldwide high-class engineer after acquiring most advanced technology on machine learning and AI.
– Collaborating with global Sony group companies, you can create a business value as a AI/ML engineer for business unit of electronics, finance, game, entertainment, medical.

Required qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent Engineering degree.
– 2 years of experience developing code in C/C++.
– Familiarity with object-oriented programming and design skills.
– Passionate about applying machine learning technology to embedded systems.

Preferred qualifications

– Advanced degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
– General software development skills (source code management, debugging, testing, etc.)
– Familiarity with real-time signal processing handling (sample rates, buffering, drivers, etc.)
– Docker/Kubernetes, Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python, experience is plus.
– Ability to work in a collaborative environment and a rapid development cycle.
