We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of Embedded AI System, Machine Learning and Robotics, in the context of Intelligent Human-Machine/Vehicle Interaction and Collaboration.

What awaits you?

• Contributing to the deveopment of next generation of the intelligent interactive vehicle.
• Integrating and deployment mulit-modal sensory information and perception (digital signal processing, pattern recognition, embedded systems architectures, communications) for human-vehicle interaction.
• Collaborating with an highly specialised international team of AI/ ML and robotics scientists and engineers.
• Contribute to applied research and pre-development projects within BMW.
• The work will be carried out at BMW AI Lab & the RoboTac team, Technology Group of BMW Center of Invention, Munich, Germany.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in electrical /electronic / control engineering, computer science or a comparable course of study or a comparable qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of digital signal processing, embedded system, hardware propgramming & architecture, pattern recognition, ML pipeline with very good analytical thinking and error analysis skills required.
• Extensive practical embedded harware systems & ML software development preferably in C/C++ & Python required.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and in scripting languages (e.g. Python, C++) would be required.
• Experience in developing and integrating software platforms for embedded devices would be required.
