We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of AI- based repair, Machine Learning, computer vision, AI-based 3D modelling and object reconstruction.

What awaits you?

• Contributing to the development of AI-based repair approach, predictive maintenace algorithms and smart design within the BMW research department.
• Developing simulating environment for prediction of repair with NVIDIA Isaac or Mujoco.
• Collaborating with a highly specialised international team of AI/ ML scientists and engineers.
• Contribute to applied research and pre-development projects within BMW.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a comparable course of study or a comparable qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of machine leaning, computer vision, transfer learning and robotics with very good analytical thinking and error analysis skills required.
• Practical experience in developing simulation environment with Nvidia Issac Sim or Mujoco,… for smart maintenance of vehicles.
• Robust knowledge in scripting languages (e.g. Python, C++, ROS) and CAD models would be required.
• Good communication skill in English is required, German knowledge would be of advantage.
