We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of AI-based Recommender Systems. In our scrum team, we work on AI-based vehicle functions for the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant (IPA). We are developing a proof-of-concept for an AI-based Recommender System which includes data analysis, model development and deployment in a prototype. As a part of our international team, you would support the conception and realization of novel AI solution modules that make innovative digital customer functions, experienceable and enjoyable.

What awaits you?

• Development of machine learning models based on state-of-the-art technology.
• Exploration of customer analytics data to investigate in-car function usage during a drive.
• Prototyping and evaluating ML models for our AI-based Recommender Systems.
• Exciting and changing challenges in an agile environment requiring creative solutions from you daily.

What should you bring along?

• Master’s student in Computer Science, Electrical/Information Technology, Mathematics, Robotics or a comparable course of study.
• You have experience in the area of machine learning.
• Hands-on experience in Transformer Architecture (LMMs).
• Highly skilled in Python and DevOps on Amazon Web Services.
• Business-fluent English. German skills are an advantage.
