Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in product design or UX design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience with AI design (traditional or generative) or SaaS application design.

• 1 year of experience leading design projects.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills.

As an Interaction Designer, you will help us achieve the direction by defining the user experience and user interface for new and existing Google Cloud Applied AI products and features. You will push for rapid innovation and product development to meet the fast-paced demands of the competitive GenAI application market.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
• Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high-fidelity prototypes.
• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
• Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
