Incubation Business is creating the future core businesses of Rakuten in new business domains. Our mission is to startup services that does not exist in the market or work on something that is about to become a trend in small teams like a startup venture in Rakuten.

You will be involved in a business that has received a lot of attention from CEO and management and that can have a significant impact on the market. In some cases, you will be involved in business collaboration within Rakuten Group, and you will often interact with multiple stakeholders to advance your work.

The position we are recruiting for is a start-up member for a new business in retail x AI area. You can enhance your skills through various business development experiences such as business & operation planning, operation management, sales activities etc.

You will be responsible for the overall tasks required to launch the business. For example, the following specific tasks will be performed.

– Overall business planning and verification

– New customer development

– Service planning and operation

– Project management

We will expand our team as our business grows.

Leader candidate

– Business development or strategic consultant experiences

– Strategic alliance negotiation and execution experiences

– Project management experiences

– Responsibility and get things done mind

Staff

– Business Planning and execution skill

– Responsibility and get things done mind

– Customer oriented mind

– High communication skills or sales experiences

– Flexibility to business and market changes

Desired Qualifications:

– Experience in IT industry

Additional information on English Qualification

TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country)

In this case, it is necessary to achieve a TOEIC Score exceeding 800 after joining Rakuten in order to be eligible to become a regular employee.

If no evidence is available to prove the qualifications denoted above, taking an IP test, organized by Rakuten, during selection process is required.
