IBM Consulting Internship – GenAI, AI & Data Full-time

Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Consulting’s Student Program is IBM’s world-class development program for early professionals and still studying talents. You will jump-start your consulting career by combining client project work across different industries and service areas. Your projects will be combined with focused training and coaching by our network of experts and mentors.

All those elements will help you develop relevant skills and gain meaningful experience, while you solve our clients’ most challenging problems with future-shaping solutions.

IBM Consulting Students are new hires who still study on year 4, 5 or are close to graduation, they are new to the corporate workplace. This Program helps to gain foundational knowledge through an engaging and interactive onboarding and induction centered around working in The IBM Consulting Way.

Introduce them to our history, provide an overview of IBM and Consulting, our strategy, our organization structure, eight key offerings, market approach, and our emphasis on research and innovation. As a member of IBM Consulting, you will gain exposure to GenAI, AI, Data, Digital Experience, Cloud, Delivery Quality, Agile, Problem solving and of course you will have a career journey plan.

Together with your project team you will:

• assist in the design, business architect, process development, functional implementation, and support of GenAI/AI/Data solution – our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing business and technical components and integrating software packages using various tools
• experience & demonstrate understanding of overall AI & Data architecture and platform
• use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results
• get to know Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methods for Software Development Life Cycle
• support – as a practice team member – our GenAI, AI and Data consulting offering

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
We look for team members with general business awareness, a professional & innovative mindset, passion for tech and appetite for large enterprise solutions who:

• Have a bachelor degree in the Information Technology / Economics / Business Management / Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems / Big Data / Computer Science / Digital Commerce area
• Ready to dedicate to IBM us 3-5 days per week
• Have a academic understanding of GenAI, AI and Data processing trends and technologies
• Quickly understands existing business processes/solutions to translate this into end user needs and technical requirements for new ways of working
• Thrive in ever changing, technology-based service environments – motivated by learning new technologies and solving client problems together
• Easily connects with new stakeholders and builds professional relationships with other IBMers, clients and business partners
• Have a strong communication skills in both Polish and English

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Hands on experience with GenAI solutions and models deployed for business or technical problem solving implementation
• Previous experience in providing Consulting services related to strategically driven implementation, adoption, operation, and expansion of Data and AI technologies: IBM Watsonx, OpenAI, Gemini, Databricks, Snowflake
• Passion for the AI domain and use of technology to solve business problems
• A solid understanding of general business, data monetization concepts and strategies
• An innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Previous experience of Agile (Scrum/ Kanban) project management methodologies
• Knowledge of cloud related technologies
• Knowledge of cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM)
