The Institute of Educational Sciences (ISE) of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is driven by the desire to develop the sciences of education and training through educational innovation, research, improvement of teaching-learning and continuing professional development.
Our institute thus wishes to contribute to the mission of excellence and public utility of the UM6P, by setting up research/training-action projects in Moroccan and African territory. To do this, we rely on a solid team as well as local and international strategic alliances with renowned universities and researchers.
The field of research “Evaluation in Education” focuses on the study and implementation of methods and practices used to measure and improve the quality of teaching and learning.
The topic of assessment, measurement and evaluation in education and higher education is a timely topic for Morocco and Africa. This PhD program will equip you with advanced knowledge and expertise to be able to design, implement, and evaluate assessment strategies, measurement tools, and evaluation methods in educational settings. As a student in this program, you will delve into cutting-edge research questions such as:
How can we enhance the validity and reliability of assessment instruments in measuring student learning outcomes?
