Hub Technical Lead – AI & App Innovation Full-time

Architects drive customer innovation – from problem exploration to technical proof – with a journey of highly tailored single or multi-day engagements. We are hiring for the role of Hub Technical Lead – AI & App Innovation.

In this globally unique position of Hub Technical Lead, you will be working at the forefront of Microsoft innovation – helping customers create and implement a vision and strategy for their digital transformation. Working for the MTC corporate leadership team, you will support our amazing 200+ Technical Architects globally by giving them a demonstration experiences to showcase the value of the Microsoft Cloud.

You will ensure the latest messaging, demos and content gets to the people who need to use it. You will also deliver a small number of customer engagements – to keep your technical skills sharp and grounded in the everyday needs of our global teams.

Your role is to set a vision around offering and identify gaps in content; seek sponsorship to fill those gaps; and land new content successfully in a range of experience formats like physical exhibits, digital signage, in-room demos, and immersive multi-media theaters.

You will join an established program staffed with an extraordinary team of technologists and creatives running one of the world’s broadest and most impactful executive technical sales programs. You’ll deliver into a world-wide community of exceptional peers, with access to the latest software and hardware, and you’ll be given the time and budget to develop as a globally influential technical leader.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home and 50% of the time onsite in Redmond, Washington.

Responsibilities

Own technical proof for global demos

• Validate, implement and improve global software demos for robust use at scale – for example adapting a conference keynote demo to enable it to run on our global demo platform. Ensure all demos are secure and accessible by design and have deep technical truth – we never show fake or simulated experiences at MTC.

Build interactive theater narratives

• Own the content narrative for our 20+ ultra-widescreen LED walls – adapting assets to make best use of the available technology and authoring a persuasive, persona-based narrative journey through the best of Microsoft’s innovation. Work through our global communities to harvest and improve the best demos.

Land prioritized global projects

• Land prioritized projects from our Commercial Solution Areas into MTC by adapting offerings, content and guidance to work with MTC.

Harvest signals and patterns

• Harvest customer signal and patterns from delivered engagements. Strengthen and grow MTC communities through active participation.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Technical breadth: Intermediate level experience across the full range of Microsoft cloud solutions – Azure infrastructure, Azure developer, Azure data, artificial intelligence, business applications, modern work and security. Demonstrated experience of solution architectures which span multiple workloads.
• Technical depth: Deep experience as a solutions architect (or equivalent), including deep practical experience, in the area of Azure tenant administration and custom software development (any language). Experience in automation and device management such as PowerShell, Endpoint Manager, Autopilot etc would be beneficial.
• Structured facilitator: Validated customer experience in requirements capture; prioritization; capturing evidence and impact to quantify business value; issue, risk and constraint identification.

Technology Specialists IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 – $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 – $219,200 per year.
