Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (Gen AI) are game-changing technologies that stand to reshape the insurance industry, with the power to fundamentally transform underwriting processes. Our ideal candidate will advance Global Specialty’s “Epicenter of Change” as a critical contributor in revolutionizing how we ‘underwrite human achievement’ and work through the integration of cutting-edge. In this role, you will partner across the organization with Business, Operations, Data Science, Execution, Information Technology, Chief Underwriting Office and our Chief Operating Officer to craft a transformative multi-year roadmap. You will bridge the traditional and the cutting-edge-harnessing Gen AI tech, tackling challenges, and ensuring we continue to grow sustainably in a dynamic market.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$176,000 – $264,000
