Head AI-ML CoE (Center of Excellence) Full-time

Role: General Manager & Head AI/ML – Center of Excellence

Location: Mumbai

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to head our Center of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Data management, architecture, Data quality, AI and ML models, innovation, new technology evaluation and building a team that can deliver insights led transformation.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization to define and execute the AI and ML strategy and roadmap, and ensure alignment with the business objectives and vision. You will also foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the Center of Excellence and across the data and analytics community.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the Center of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and manage a team of data scientists, engineers, analysts and architects.
• Define and implement the AI and ML strategy and roadmap, and ensure alignment with the business objectives and vision.
• Establish and maintain best practices and standards for data management, architecture, data quality, AI and ML models, innovation and new technology evaluation.
• Own and operate the Data lake design and architecture including day to day operations around data for Enterprise (from MIS reports to Insights to diagnostics to deliver prescriptive solutions
• Drive the development and deployment of AI and ML solutions that address complex business problems and deliver value to the organization.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of AI and ML solutions, and ensure continuous improvement and optimization.
• Identify and explore new and emerging technologies and trends in the field of AI and ML, and assess their feasibility and potential for the organization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization, and communicate effectively the vision, value and progress of the AI and ML initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the Center of Excellence and across the data and analytics community, and provide mentorship and guidance to the team members.

• Gender diverse candidates preferred.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years of experience in leading AI and ML projects and teams.
• Proven track record of delivering successful AI and ML solutions that address complex business problems and deliver value to the organization.
• Expertise in data management, architecture, data quality, AI and ML models, innovation and new technology evaluation.
  • Proficiency in various AI and ML techniques and tools, such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, machine learning frameworks, cloud platforms, etc.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively and analytically, and to translate business requirements into AI and ML solutions.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest developments and trends in the field of AI and ML.
