GLOBAL DATA & AI COUNSEL – GLOBAL SERVICES LEGAL Full-time

The mission statement of Global Services Legal is to “drive sustainable business growth for Accenture by providing deep legal expertise at the intersection of business strategy, industry and technology in a highly dynamic environment.” The Global Services Legal team functions as the integrator between various other parts of the Legal team, coordinating between the multidisciplinary areas of deep expertise across the wider Legal team, to deliver one holistic Legal perspective to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) business team within Accenture Technology in conducting assessments of new service and product offerings, and preparing those offerings for market
• Coordinate and collaborate with other teams within Global Services Legal and others across legal in relation to go to market services as well as supporting compliance with applicable Accenture policies
• Collaborate with colleagues across Legal and Quality & Risk to identify legal and regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Enable Accenture’s Sales & Delivery Legal team to efficiently handle day-to-day contracting, including developing contracting templates and guidance and providing SME support to deal teams
• Support Accenture’s Ventures & Acquisitions Legal team and business leadership in the evaluation of prospective acquisition targets sponsored by Data & AI business and development and implementation of post-merger integration strategy

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• Minimum [8 yrs.] relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting, ideally advising on data and AI services
• Experience analyzing complex facts and situations to provide risk analysis and mitigation strategies
• Experience with emerging technologies and offerings and related contract structures
• Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes as required for the offerings, including with respect to data protection and privacy
• Track record of developing trusted relationships with senior business leaders
• Experience shaping deals and evaluating innovative commercial models for new product and service offerings, ideally including data & AI services

Education and Qualifications

Education: JD and admission in good standing with applicable bar association(s) (or their local equivalents)
