Job Title: Gen AI Lead/Architect.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team as an Architect – Technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PySpark Python Generative AI Azure GCP Services Google Cloud – Big Data and Google Cloud – Services. This role involves leading technical projects designing scalable solutions and ensuring the successful implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient architectures using Python Generative AI Azure and GCP
• Oversee the development and deployment of big data solutions on Google Cloud Platform
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members ensuring best practices are followed
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on project progress and challenges

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Python and Generative AI with a proven track record of successful projects
• Demonstrate proficiency in Azure and GCP with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions
• Have extensive knowledge of PySpark and its application in big data processing
• Show experience with Google Cloud – Big Data and Google Cloud – Services leveraging these technologies to build robust solutions
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills working effectively with cross-functional teams
• Full software development lifecycle experience
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills
• Strong Python programming expertise
• C# nice to have
• Proven practical expertise in Azure specifically with respect to
• Authoring deploying debugging and trouble-shooting function apps
• Function app scaling (horizontally and vertically)
• Application Insights
• Log Analytics Workspaces
• API Management Service
• Azure Service Bus
• Capturing and recording usage and other info from API’s proxied by API Management Service
• API development experience nice to have
• General understanding of Generative AI models concepts capabilities and usage patterns
• Experience with Langchain or other similar abstraction/orchestration library is a benefit
• Experience with at least one of the following:
• Azure Open AI models – public API
• Google Gemini model variants – public API

Certifications Required

• GOOGLE PROFESSIONAL CLOUD ARCHITECT MICROSOFT CERTIFIED: AZURE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT EXPERT CERTIFIED PYTHON DEVELOPER

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 08/08/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
