As part of our Analytics and Insights Consumption team, you’ll analyze data to drive useful insights for clients to address core business issues or to drive strategic outcomes. You’ll use visualization, statistical and analytics models, AI/ML techniques, Modelops and other techniques to develop these insights.

Job Description: GenAI DevOps – Manager (PwC US AC)

PwC US – Acceleration Center is seeking a seasoned GenAI DevOps Engineer to take on the role of Manager within our dynamic team. As a GenAI DevOps Engineer Manager, you will be instrumental in leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment processes for our GenAI projects. The ideal candidate should have a profound background in DevOps practices, with a specialized focus on GenAI technologies, and possess extensive knowledge in cloud computing, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers in understanding the infrastructure and deployment needs of GenAI projects to develop scalable and robust solutions.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure that supports high-availability and high-performance for GenAI applications.
• Champion the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools such as Azure DevOps Pipeline (CICD) and others.
• Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline and automate the software delivery process for GenAI projects.
• Monitor system performance and implement solutions to improve scalability, efficiency, and reliability of GenAI applications.
• Enforce and enhance security protocols and best practices to safeguard GenAI systems and data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including data scientists, engineers, and developers to ensure seamless integration and effective deployment of GenAI models and applications.
• Address and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges, providing expert guidance and solutions.
• Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of GenAI technologies and DevOps practices to continually advance our capabilities and recommend innovative enhancements.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to junior team members and direct reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant technical experience, with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices in GenAI projects.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps Pipeline (CICD) and similar automation tools.
• Advanced skills in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or equivalent.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Deep knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with Azure AI technologies, including Azure Kubernetes, Azure OpenAI, Azure EventHub, and Azure Data Lake, among others.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with additional cloud services like Databricks, Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, and GCP Cloud.
• Relevant advanced certifications in DevOps or cloud computing platforms.
