JOIN THE TEAM

Our team “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions for Supply Chains” develops innovative solutions to derive insights from data that support better and faster business decisions. We implement (Generative) AI-driven solutions in its complete lifecycle for users in supply chain management around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in close alignment with the other project team members and stakeholders to fully understand background and business requirements of each party and consult them in their activities.
• Translate the collected business requirements into technical concepts, especially regarding the Generative AI frameworks and architecture.
• Drive the sustainable implementation of our new GenAI-oriented Supply Chain Intelligence platform, including:
  • Professional software development and implementation by utilizing BASF standard DevOps platforms / libraries
  • Construction, deployment, and implementation of microservices on the Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • GenAI functionalities, especially high-performance of the application
• You can create product requirement documents and maintain it in an agile working mode, e. g. in Azure DevOps boards and tasks.
• Work in an international and agile DevOps environment and you apply agile principles for setting priorities and managing multiple stakeholders in a challenging business environment.
• Sharing your knowledge and expertise with colleagues and promoting a culture of AI-driven innovation within the organization
• Manage communication with external vendors to validate the landscape design & integration concept.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: A bachelor or master’s in information technology, software engineering, Computer Science or Data Science
• Work experience:
  • Working Experience: 4+ years professional implementation experience in software engineering / development
  • Experiencing Agile way of working or agile implementation approach
  • Strong Communication & Presentations skills
• Technical and professional knowledge (Must have):
• At least 3 years of software / Frontend engneering experience with
  • JavaScript, Node.js, Spring Boot or .NET Core with MS SQL and NoSQL database
  • Angular / Vue/ HTML5 and CSS
  • Unit Testing using Jasmine, Karma, NUnit
  • User interfaced for Generative AI, like ChatGPT
• At least a year of software engineering experience with
  • Experience constructing, developing, and implementing microservices
  • Maintaining infrastructure as code
  • Experience working on a DevOps team
  • Experience with configuring and deploying on the Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Has data intensive application experience
• Comfortable working in highly complex environment with multiple stakeholders and with strong pressure to deliver on time and on budget.
