Full-stack Engineer – Generative AI Full-time

About this position:

Generative AI is one of the hottest and most promising technologies with the potential to provide a step-change enhancement in engineering efficiency.

For example, imagine a generative AI model that can “read” requirements and generate corresponding test cases. By itself it cannot connect with the text it needs to “read”, and by itself, it cannot connect with the document where it would “write” the corresponding test cases. And it doesn’t have an interface to “interact” with a human.

In this role, you will cooperate with Aptiv’s AI ML group and help to build all these elements needed to make the AI model usable.

We are a team of experts leveraging AI to provide tools for Aptiv engineers. With teams working across the globe, we create and deliver solutions that utilize Gen AI technologies. We are looking for a talented Full-stack engineer to work on our suite of AI-powered tools.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Collaborate with Front-end developers, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Scientists, UX designers, and other team members
• Write and test product development code
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices
• Write and review technical documents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Python in different contexts
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Experience with AWS
• Experience in writing unit tests
• Experience with Git
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (TypeScript with React)

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with software design, and architecture
• Experience working with large data sets
• Knowledge of gRCP and protobuf
• Experience with building products from scratch, and launching them into production
• Experience with the agile software development process
• Having a product mindset
• Independence, and ownership
• Certifications in relevant technologies
