Deloitte Consulting is seeking a talented and strategic Senior Manager to support our Finance Analytics and AI initiatives in Ireland, as part of our Finance Transformation team. This role involves assisting clients through analytics and AI-driven transformation journeys across various industries. As a leader in Finance Analytics and AI, you will help implement innovative solutions, support a high-performing team, and collaborate with Deloitte’s Global network.

About the role:

As a Senior Manager, you will collaborate with and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and manage finance transformation projects in various areas. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing strategies and plans for financial reporting and analytics solutions, as well as guiding teams in designing and implementing these solutions.
• Providing high-quality advice to clients, drawing on your experience and leading industry practices.
• Providing strategic direction on AI adoption, including Generative AI, guiding clients on the potential of these technologies while fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Leading cross-functional teams to deliver both traditional and generative AI solutions to finance departments.
• Overseeing the development of end-user reports and data visualisations, from requirements gathering through to design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Managing multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver finance transformation projects, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controllership, Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ensuring seamless project management and leadership of finance analytics transformations, maintaining alignment with global Deloitte teams.
• Mentoring and developing team members, promoting a culture of professional growth, client service excellence, and innovation.

About you:

• Prior consulting experience in finance analytics or significant roles in large-scale finance reporting transformation projects.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, dedicated to exceptional client service and fostering inclusivity.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and produce quality deliverables.
• Proficiency in finance analytics design and implementation, including SQL, Advanced Excel, and data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAC, Looker Studio).
• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or other) preferred; certifications in data analytics/data science are a plus.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategies for financial reporting and analytics solutions.
• Skilled in developing end-user reports and data visualisations.
• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI applications, with a proactive approach to ongoing learning in this evolving area.
• Strong project management and business development skills.
• Commitment to mentoring and developing team members, promoting professional growth and innovation.
