Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C , Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Propose, design and implement production-grade and scalable machine learning infrastructure that integrates well with existing tech stack.
• Understand various use cases and pain points for conversational search, work with the modeling team, collaborators in research, and production users, to design and implement quality models.
• Drive and lead the development and governance of the conversational search and question and answering stack, and address research and product teams needs.
