How will you make an impact:

You will be part of the team that will develop AI related solutions in collaboration with different business units and divisions in Thermo Fisher Scientific. You will be developing services and applications that will be used, integrated with the software solutions delivered to our customers.

What will you do:

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java/Python
• Implement microservices architecture to build scalable and resilient software solutions.
• Use cloud platforms like AWS, Azure to deploy and run software applications.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs.
• Embrace a development approach that prioritizes high-quality code and comprehensive test coverage.
• Apply principles of modular and maintainable software architectures to create software solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to implement innovative Generative AI algorithms and models.
• Document software designs, architectures, and development processes.

How will you get here:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience:

• 4+ years of strong proficiency in Python language, including experience with relevant frameworks and libraries
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying microservices-based applications
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms,
• Experience with Spring, Flask, Fast API
• Proven knowledge in designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Good experience in UI frameworks like Angular, React.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred:

• Knowledge in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Data Science domains
• Experience working with Generative AI algorithms, frameworks
