Engineer – CV, CG & AI Development Full-time

Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for an Engineer.

Responsibilities:
• Design and build concept proofing next-gen human-machine interaction prototypes, including small scale games.
• Collaborate with researchers, designers, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of new technologies (e.g. CV, CG & AI) into deliverables.
• Propose new ideas that could potentially be productized in Huawei products or be patented.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, extended reality and game development technologies.
• Utilize OpenCV, OpenGL/Vulkan, game engines and Generative AI (incl. LLMs, Diffusion Models) to enhance user experience on mobile devices.

What you’ll bring to the team:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; More advanced degree is an asset.
• Proven experience in traditional or ML based computer vision.
• Proven experience with graphics development, such as OpenGL or Vulkan.
• Proven experience with game engines and frameworks (e.g., Unity, UE or Godot).
• Proven experience with sensors, including camera, IMU, or physiological sensors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
