Title:Engineer – AI Solutions

Location:Bangalore

The Engineer – AI Solutions at GES will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our AI & GenAI strategies. Your responsibilities will involve refining AI models, understanding our business needs, and creating AI applications that align with our organizational goals. If you’re passionate about cutting-edge technology and have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and predictive modelling, we encourage you to apply!

Who you are:

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science or a related field.

Proficiency in English (Verbal, Written)

Professional Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Primary Skills:

1. Proven experience 1-3 years as an AI, GenAI and Machine learning engineer, Data Scientist or similar role
2. Strong knowledge of Python
3. Strong Background in statistical analysis and predictive modelling, ML concepts and NLP.
4. Experienced with RESTful APIs and their integration.
5. Working knowledge of Generative AI and its use in structured & unstructured data handling
6. Exposure to AWS cloud-based AI solution development (Sagemaker, EC2, Lambda, CFTs/Terraform, ECS, S3 data handling etc) or Azure (ML Studio, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Data Lake)
7. Working knowledge of at least one big data packages like Spark, Hadoop or Google Cloud BigQuery and Familiarity with big data platforms and tools (AWS, Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, Databricks etc.)
8. Familiarity with at least one version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, SVN or CVS, etc).
9. Familiarity with Deploying machine learning models in cloud environments (AWS or Azure) using containers (Docker) or virtual machines (VMs) for training, deployment, and scaling deployment.
10. Knowledge of frontend technologies, including HTML or frameworks like Django.

Secondary Skills:

1. Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify business problems that can be addressed through AI solutions.
2. Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams within large and matrixed organisations
3. Innovation: Stay curious and explore new AI techniques
4. Consulting & Customer centric mindset.
5. Experience in developing solutions for GBS domains ( IT, Finance, Procurement, HR)

Job Description/ Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop AI Systems:
   • Create/Choose and maintain robust and scalable AI models and algorithms
   • Collaborate closely with data scientists, data analysts, and other team members to ensure accurate data collection and analysis
   • Apply machine learning and data mining techniques to large datasets, uncovering valuable patterns and insights
2. Testing and Validation:
   • Test and validate AI models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance
   • Fine-tune models based on test results
   • Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and incorporate new techniques and technologies
3. Effective Communication:
   • Clearly communicate complex AI concepts and analysis results to stakeholders
   • Document AI processes and procedures for future reference and
   • improvements.
4. Continuous Learning and Adaptation:
   • Keep abreast of advancements in the field of AI and machine learning.
   • Identify opportunities to leverage company data for business solutions.
5. Prototyping and Rapid development:
   • Working alongside other MBS teams, develop quick prototypes, Proof-of-concepts and Minimum-viable-products for the AI Solutions
   • Support teams that industrialize these solutions
