Summary & Role Information

As a DevOps Engineer for the Service & Support Data Lake , you will play an instrumental role within the team accountable for designing, configuring, and innovating our platform infrastructure. This platform is a major driver where the Data Lake team conceptualizes the future of customer support using advanced AI Services and Large Language Models. By partnering with the Data Lake community, you will operate a cutting-edge platform, maintain its overall health, and optimize deployment and operation processes to facilitate efficient support for compute-intensive AI workloads.

What You’ll Do

• Construct and manage all aspects of our AI development infrastructure, ensuring it is accurately designed for building, testing, and deploying artificial intelligence services and large language models.
• Collaborate with AI developers to optimize AI operations and coordinate efficient deployment of machine learning/large language models.
• Enforce DevOps best practices, ensuring security, scalability, and high-performance of the infrastructure.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional level to identify process inefficiencies and implement optimized solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through mentoring, feedback, and detailed root cause analysis.
• Support daily operations in the EMEA time zone

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computational Linguistics or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in containers technology (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning models deployment, and experience working with AI frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with an analytic and qualitative eye for problem solving within an infrastructure environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts and collaborate with diverse teams.
• It is beneficial if you are proficient in both English and German languages
