Job Description
Infosys is seeking a highly motivated and Computer Vision Developer to join our growing team. You will contribute to the development and deployment of innovative AI solutions using the latest advancements in Image Processing and Computer Vision. Candidate should have knowledge of basic image processing & computer vision. The role involves contributing to developing, training, and deploying computer vision models for real-world applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate must live within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or Richardson, Tx or Bentonville, AR or be willing to relocate. Travel within the US may be required.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• At least 4 years of experience in developing programs using Classical image processing techniques including image enhancement, edges, morphological operation, features detection using OpenCV.
• Experience in Preprocess and analyze image data, including resizing, augmentation, and enhancement techniques.
• Experience in fine tuning of computer vision models for tasks such as object detection, semantic segmentation, and image classification
• Experience in designing experiments to validate and improve model performance using metrics such as mAP, F1-score, and IoU
• Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML models in production environments, with a proven track record of leading successful AI projects
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Hands-on experience with image data preprocessing and augmentation.
• Strong understanding of CNNs, RNNs, transformers, and GANs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of deep learning framework like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras to build and fine-tune models.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms in building pipelines and deployment (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Experience with MLOps tools and Hugging Face ecosystem.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in AI, Image processing and Computer Vision

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
