We are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to join our growing team as a Data & AI Engineering Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

You will be the architect of our new Data & AI function, responsible for driving its successful launch and ongoing growth. Here’s what that entails:

• Build and lead high-performing data and AI teams across data governance, data quality, data management, and machine learning.
• Partner with business leaders to pinpoint the most valuable use cases for Data & AI, assessing feasibility, impact, and resource needs.
• Design and present comprehensive implementation plans to ensure client success. Collaborate with stakeholders to gain approval and implement proposed solutions.
• Stay ahead of the curve by understanding the latest technologies, and translating them into an actionable roadmap that addresses challenges and unlocks opportunities.
• Lead and contribute to the technical development of AI-powered solutions, automating and improving R&D processes.
• Design and build integrations with existing services to maximize functionality and value.

WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE:

• Knowledge of Design AI/ML systems
• Experience with researching and implementation of ML algorithms
• Knowing how to optimize models for performance and scalability
• Experience with preprocess and analysis of large datasets
• Knowing how to evaluate test data to determine areas of strength and weakness of the developed models
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages
• Experience with Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skill in English, preferably in German
• Growth mindset
• Strategic thinking
• Good organization development skills, ability to influence and lead others
