WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our team “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enablement” provides exceptional Data Science (project & upskilling) services to stakeholders across BASF. We play a vital role in driving the AI transformation at BASF and serve as the backbone of the Analytics & AI Community. With a focus on developing exceptional content, innovative learning formats and ensuring sustainable learning outcomes for BASF employees, our goal is to empower all of BASF with AI skills and competencies that enable informed decision-making and drive business growth.

As a Data & AI Coach, your responsibilities will include delivering Data & AI trainings as part of our internal Data & AI Academy, providing guidance, and coaching to employees participating, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement to increase the level of data and AI Literacy within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver theoretical and hands-on coaching and training sessions to employees of varying levels, domains and backgrounds.
• Facilitate practical training sessions in data analysis, machine learning, and AI applications.
• Assist in the development and refinement of the academy’s curriculum based on participant needs and industry trends.
• Monitor and assess participant progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized guidance.
• Collaborate with the academy team to ensure the program is effective, up-to-date, and engaging.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of post-program support and resources.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in Data and AI and change management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor degree in the field of Business Information Tech with focus on Data Analysis, Data Science or Data Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 4-5 years of work experience in a similar role
• A Master degree or PhD in the field of Business Information Tech with focus on Data Analysis, Data Science or Data Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 1 years of (non-academic) work experience in a similar role.
• Additional, prior teaching experience would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a data or AI role, with experience in coaching or education preferred.
• Proven track record in implementing AI or data-centered project.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and AI concepts, proficiency in Python.
• Good understanding of requirements and learning needs in data-driven business use cases.
• Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in driving Data & AI driven learning/enablement initiatives within an organization.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively explain information and engage diverse audiences.
• Able to convince, engage and win internal and external stakeholders for the topic of Data & AI.
• Emotionally intelligent and loves to work with people from different domains, roles & backgrounds.
• Fluency in English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Familiarity with corporate upskilling and adult learning
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Knowledge of learning management systems.
• Experience in a global, multicultural setting.
• Conversational language skills in further languages, ideally German.
