About this role:

In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your Data and AI technical expertise and industry knowledge to deliver AI-driven solutions that drive business value for our clients in various sectors. You will work closely with cross-functional consulting teams to develop and implement innovative strategies, utilizing advanced analytics, machine learning, deep learning and Generative AI technologies.

The key responsibilities may include:

Strategic and structured thinking: Understand and digest strategic agenda of clients’ ask and breakdown business problems with logic structure.

Industry knowledge: Be familiar with retail and consumer goods industry from either consulting project experience or corporate in-house experience, across a variety of functions such as marketing, sales and operations.

Drive client value creation: Understand the client’s business, priorities and leadership agenda, and co-create with the client, articulate transformation and drive innovation agenda for the client

Client Engagement: Be able to face clients’ management and leadership team to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities in leveraging data and AI technologies for competitive advantage

Build long-standing, trust-based relationships: Inspire clients and establish self as a trusted advisor with clients through an in-depth understanding of the client, the industry, and deep insights of what and how in data and AI technologies

Solution Design: Design tailored AI solution tailored that address client needs, partner with industry/functional consulting team to embed business value into AI solution, or embed AI solution into consulting solution to deliver measurable business outcomes leverage your expertise in AI, Machine learning and Gen AI

Team leadership: Own the experience to lead teams to deliver consulting or in-house projects. Understand how to organize the delivery of a consulting project, e.g. timeline, deliverable description, team set-up, milestone set-up.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in strategy/management consulting and minimum of 5 years of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and Gen-AI with best use of commercial data science or machine learning platforms; OR Minimum of 8 years of professional, commercial or delivery services to business units in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and Gen-AI with best use of commercial data science or machine learning platforms, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industries.
• Strong understanding of NLP, LLM, and multimodal model research: including prompt engineering, RAG, reasoning enhancement, multi-agent, fine-tune, post-training etc..
• Experienced with at least one of Python, C/C++, familiar with basic data structures and algorithms, and able to reproduce and optimize algorithms
• Proficiency with Linux, and at least one of the major AI frameworks, such as Pytorch/JAX/Tensorflow, etc.
• Ability to work independently, manage small or parts of large engagements.
• Experiences and proven record in senior client dialogues with strong customer relationship building skills.
• Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications to senior audiences (written and oral in both Chinese and English) and facilitate complex discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented and distributed delivery environment
• Fluency in English, Chinese, and additional languages is considered advantageous
