Your Role:

Realtime Vision SW Engineer role sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, which will be at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology. In your daily job you will:

• Analyze internal & external customer requirements to come up with a software strategy to achieve project goals.
• Create and document software design meeting requirements using UML
• Write robust and reusable high-level software code implementing Realtime vison features.
• Use C, C++, and Python languages & Computer Vision skills to work on acquiring, processing, analyzing digital Image on a different of target platforms including PCs and embedded SoCs.
• OpenCV development experience, Graphic Algorithm development experience, Camera Calibration Experience
• Define unit tests and software test strategy
• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with industry quality standards

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
• 6+ years of experience writing software using C, C++ and/or Python
• 3+ years of experience working in an Agile development team
• OpenCV development experience, Graphic Algorithm development experience, Camera Calibration Experience

• Familiarity with software development processes (CI/CD, Automotive SPICE) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)
• Experience with Linux or QNX: configuration, command line usage, shell scripting, etc.
• Familiarity with software modeling in UML using tools such as Enterprise Architect
• Experience with machine learning, computer vision, image processing, and cameras
