– Do not use stats that may be newsworthy such as downloads, units, market share, sales, revenue, or other business metrics without first consulting your Public Relations team.
– Do not mention specific competitors.
– Absolute security, safety, and privacy do not exist. Therefore, do not make any statements that express or imply absolute security, safety, and privacy.
– Do not reference internal URLs, job levels, or terminology.
Responsibilities (Text Only)
– Understand the Partner Technical Environment: identify and evaluate industry trends, gather partner insights, and map architecture and digital transformation solutions to partner business outcomes.
– Provide Technical Enablement: jointly develop technical enablement plan for partners. Lead and or contribute to the delivery of Training, Workshops and Bootcamps necessary to build the technical skills and expertise of our partners.
– Design Architecture: leverage and champion an existing architecture approach to achieve Microsoft’s agreed commitments to the partner. Propose and develop new solutions to scale across multiple customers while demonstrating the business case and presenting alternative scenarios. Understand complex technical requirements and address them with win-win technical architecture. Provide thought leadership for technical architecture design, development, and deployment and drives the partner throughout pre-sales and/or implementation. Anticipate, identify, and remove technical blockers. Apply methodologies, best practices, and governance to identify, communicate, and minimize business and technical risks.
– Be a Trusted Advisor: develop and expand existing impactful relationships with partners, C-level technical decision makers, and business stakeholders, providing direction to them. Influence partners in technical and architectural areas.
– Collaborate with others: lead virtual teams around technologies and partner challenges by sharing ideas and insight with technical teams and internal communities. Act as a mentor to multiple peers and lead initiatives to improve processes and drive efficiency. Participate in external events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs) and share learnings with internal teams.
Qualifications (Text Only)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 5+ years’ experience in cloudtechnologies, architecture, software development, technology solutions, practice developmentOR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
– Business Value: The ability to convey the business needs and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers. This includes the ability to persuade and inform based on facts and alignment with goals and strategy.
– Trusted Advisership: The ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders (e.g., technical decision makers, business decision makers) through an understanding of customer needs and technologies.
– Situational fluency: Using self-awareness as a mechanism to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues to increase your ability to “read the room.”
– Insightful listening: asking insightful questions to understand the customer needs, issues, business environment and drivers, and going beyond what customer has said.
Technical
Breadth of technical experience and knowledge in foundational security, foundational AI, architecture design, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following:
– Deep domain expertise in one of the Azure AI specific areas, such as Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI and CoPilot OR hands-on experience working with the respective products at the expert level.
– Experience in creating AI solutions Proof of Concepts (PoC), and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for customers that lead to production deployments.
– Competitive Landscape: Knowledge of key AI platforms such as AWS, GCP etc.
– Software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e., Jenkins, Azure Developer Services, GitHub, MLOps)
