Accessibility Guidance

Follow these suggestions for what to avoid in your job advertisement:
– Do not mention unannounced products, technologies or project codenames.
– Do not discuss future product milestones or roadmaps.
– Do not mention executive names.
– Do not use a team name unless well known to external audiences.
– Do not discuss internal company goals or business strategies.
– Do not discredit current Microsoft products in market or use language with a negative connotation when describing Microsoft products or services.
– Do not use stats that may be newsworthy such as downloads, units, market share, sales, revenue, or other business metrics without first consulting your Public Relations team.
– Do not mention specific competitors.
– Absolute security, safety, and privacy do not exist. Therefore, do not make any statements that express or imply absolute security, safety, and privacy.
– Do not reference internal URLs, job levels, or terminology.
Responsibilities (Text Only)
– Understand customers’ overall data estate, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions.
– Apply technical knowledge to architect solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data Platform, AA/AI roadmaps, and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key analytics and AI technologies where appropriate (e.g. Azure ML, Cognitive Services, Spark, Data Lake, Azure Synapse, etc.)
– Ensure that solution exhibits high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
– Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates.
– Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering team to remove key blockers.
– Assess the Customers’ knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners.
– Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure platform.
– Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community while educate customers on Azure platform.
– Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners and external communities.
Qualifications (Text Only)
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
– 7+ years of experience in software development/support, data science, analytics/BI system development, or artificial intelligence.
– Deep understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Native solutions, Database and Security.
– Familiarity with at least one development language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript, Scala).
– Problem Solving. Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies required
– 3+ years of experience in customer-facing IT project delivery.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
– 12+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, software development/support, data science, analytics/BI system development, or artificial intelligence.
– Proficiency in multiple development languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript, Scala).
– 6+ years of experience in customer-facing IT project delivery.
– 6+ years of experience leading technical projects.
– Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, security certifications).
Tech Skill Key Words (Optional, The more familiar entries, the better.)
– Essential Skills:
– OpenAI/AI and Cognitive services
– NoSQL Databases including OSS (Cassandra, Mongo, HBase, etc.), Cosmos DB
– SQL Server/Database and OSS database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
– Big Data platforms (Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, Spark)
– Advanced Analytics (Azure Synapse, Databricks, visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, QuickBI)
– Preferred Skills:
– Data Science and Data Engineering (machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and scikit-learn)
– Expertise in data estate workloads (HDInsight, Hadoop, Cloudera, Spark, Python)
