Audio Recording for AI Training Full-time

Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. Are you interested in assisting researchers in training the next generation of audio machine-learning models? This research aims to improve the models’ understanding of human speech and requests and make them more friendly and compassionate.

About the opportunity:

• You will be asked to record your voice as part of short conversations expressing different emotions, accents, and audio modulations and review recordings by other users.
• This freelance opportunity is remote, and hours are flexible, so you can work whenever is best for you.

Preferably, you will have:

• Based in the US or Canada
• Native fluency in English
• Experience with any voice-related work, such as voiceover acting, social media, video game streaming, podcast recording, audio narration, or any adjacent fields
• Own and able to use a high-fidelity microphone for recordings (e.g., condenser microphones with no reverb or static)
• Access to a quiet location to record audio without background noise.

Other Preferred Experiences:

• Experience with on-screen or on-stage acting, stand-up or improv comedy, vocal music, therapy, teaching, or life coaching fields.

Payment:

• Currently, pay rates for core project work for voice recording is up to $40 per hour.
• If you are selected, you will be invited via email to complete potential screening on English fluency and voice-recording ability to determine eligibility
