Associate Contracts Manager, Artificial Intelligence Full-time

We’re looking for a talented legal professional to support Amazon’s artificial intelligence efforts. In this role, you will partner with attorneys, business development teams, product managers, scientists, engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to create effective and efficient contracts, and to find innovative solutions to legal risk.

Key job responsibilities

You will create and improve legal team mechanisms, design and codify legal policies and process requirements, and draft and negotiate commercial agreements. You will also participate in team-wide meetings, departmental goals, and collaborative projects. And you’ll do all of this with support from and in collaboration with a dynamic, experienced, and global team of lawyers and legal professionals at Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department
• Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior in-house legal experience
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and technology
• Experience building out team resources using Sharepoint, Confluence, or other similar tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
