Artificial Intelligence Model Operations & Operational Risk Analyst Full-time

We’re offering a permanent position within the GCRG (Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance) Models & Methodology function to enhance our non-financial risk and artificial intelligence related modelling capabilities in the team.

What motivates you …
• Enhance the data processing and monitoring capabilities ensuring adequate model input feeds for our risk measurement models.
• Support and improve machine learning and AI related model initiatives and be part of the exciting journey on introducing new solutions for our internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Model Risk Management & Control, Group Internal Audit and external audit as required to address analytical feedback and questions.
• Support the preparation of regulatory walkthroughs and reviews on our model maintenance activities.
• Enhance your model governance related experience and continuously drive data-related improvements providing feedback to data processors and relevant stakeholders to improve our models.
• Support model related senior management communication and interact as model and data expert with key stakeholders

Your team

You will be working within the GCRG Methodologies & Models function and directly reporting to the head of the Non-Financial Risk Measurement & AI Model Operations. The team is responsible to execute core risk management processes, calibrate the NFR measurement models (i.e. Economic Capital models to support local exchanges on capital needs) and maintain AI-based model solutions.

Candidate should enjoy data analysis, facilitating discussions and working with a wide range of stakeholders and is comfortable working in a small and specialized team.

Your expertise
• Master or higher educational degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, information technology, econometrics or alternatively in economics, business, finance/accountancy.
• Programming skills in Python and / or R.
• Analytical profile with excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with large datasets and platform developments.
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications with strong data analytics skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Prior model governance and financial industry experience preferrable.
• Pro-active can-do mentality and keen to assume responsibility.
• Ease the building of effective relationships across functions / teams.
• Strong team player mindset who appreciates challenging the status quo and promotes collaboration.
