Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Specialist Full-time

Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a team that supports U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM)? Peraton is looking for an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Specialist. Data/AI staff provides Advana /data enhancements increasing situational understanding and decreasing time required to plan and execute. Develops and deploys ML models using Advana’s analytics framework for predictive analysis and trend identification. Facilitates collaboration with mission partners for the development and execution of strategic data initiatives focusing on data engineering, data science, advanced analytics, AI/ML model development, and data governance to inform strategic decision-making, enable military operations, and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Basic Quals:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Minimum 8 YOE with Bachelor Degree, or 6 YOE with Master Degree, or 3 YOE with PhD
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) hierarchy of needs to enable a trusted data environment capable of supporting data visualization, analytics, Machine Learning (ML), and the responsible use of artificial intelligence
  • Experience in Governance, Standards and Roles and Responsibilities; Assessment and Inventory of Data; Data Stewardship and Quality Programs; Enabling Capabilities to Decision Advantage.
  • Experience in the Conduct of analyses to identify opportunities for enhanced data infrastructure, as well as automated orchestration of numerous data pipelines and assessment of potential uses for AI/ML.

  Preferred Quals:

  • Master’s Degree or PhD from an accredited college or university

Target Salary Range

$112,000 – $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
