Overview

As a Lead in Computer Vision and AI, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation in artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on computer vision, applied generative AI, and deep learning. Your role involves pioneering the development and application of advanced AI techniques to analyze and interpret unstructured data from various sources. By leading a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of AI, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights and pioneering new solutions that leverage the latest in AI technology

Responsibilities

• Lead the acquisition, exploration, and analysis of unstructured data across multiple formats (text, images, audio, video) for analytics, emphasizing IoT edge deployment of AI/ML models.
• Utilize deep learning frameworks such as MXNet, PyTorch, Caffe 2, TensorFlow, Theano, CNTK, and Keras to support the team in building and deploying sophisticated DL models.
• Research, design, implement, and evaluate innovative computer vision algorithms and ML/DL algorithms, including areas of Generative AI, to push the boundaries of what’s possible within the field.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to analyze, extract, normalize, and label relevant data, ensuring the development of high-quality annotation platforms for internal use.
• Partner with DevOps engineers to operationalize models efficiently, ensuring their seamless integration into production environments.
• Oversee the entire data lifecycle, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and completeness, including defining data validation, pre-processing, and feature engineering strategies.
• Engage closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements and business use cases into actionable metrics, KPIs, and AI-driven solutions.
• Foster a deep understanding of data sources, implement data standards, and maintain high data quality and master data management practices.
• Design and develop robust data services and APIs to support AI initiatives.
• Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring timely delivery of commitments with clear communication to all stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration and communication across business lines, technology partners, vendors, and architects to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by 8+ years of relevant experience in AI, ML, and computer vision.
• At least 4+ years of hands-on development experience in Python, with a strong command of Python libraries for machine learning.
• Proven expertise in AI, ML, Deep Learning, particularly in computer vision and generative AI, with at least 2+ years of dedicated experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects in predictive modeling, data science, and the development and deployment of ML models, including deep learning models.
• Experience in a leadership role within a dynamic and innovative environment, with a track record of driving projects to successful completion.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, with a preference for those with experience in deploying and managing AI solutions in cloud environments.
