Job Description
Nokia DAC consists of centralized and edge clouds that we develop and operate. Our central cloud manages a large fleet of edge clouds on customer premises which extend fixed campus networks with 4G or 5G radio technology and by running applications on the same edge. We run the latest container and cloud-native technologies.
And how AI fits to the above? That we are researching all the way from improving developer experience in the internal tools, operational feedback loops, to developing Edge Platform AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the evolution of Nokia MX Industrial Edge (MXIE) by applying AI into the platform and its development flows. Design and implement pipelines to make internal data usable for LLMs by developing efficient data processing, transformation, and retrieval systems. Build and optimize LLM-powered applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Stay up to date with the latest AI research and run proof-of-concept (PoC) experiments to evaluate new techniques and models.
Qualifications
Research mindset is mandatory! We value a hands-on attitude, quick learning, and innovative thinking. Exact qualifications may vary, and we aim to find a good match with your interests. Our architecture team covers a wide range of topics, from research to operational, providing an opportunity to learn from top experts.
You should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related fields. Key skills include programming, data processing and AI.
