AIML-Sr. Machine Learning Manager Full-time

Summary
We are looking for an experienced, senior engineering manager to lead the engineering teams responsible for online Experimentation platforms that empower Apple engineers to deliver great user experiences. We are addressing key challenges to accelerate the adoption of ML across the OS stack and services operating at the scale of 2+ billion devices. Our work is complex, challenging and highly visible. Lead a team of OS, Server backend and Data engineers to envision and build the future of online experimentation.

Description
The mission for our organization is to measure, understand and proactively improve all Apple features. As part of the org, we are looking for an experienced engineering manager and technical leader to lead the teams in building online experimentation systems for Apple’s use internally.

In this role you will:
Manage and grow teams that design, develop and operate an online experimentation platform to enable on-device and device/server combined ML workflows. For example, build a service to rollout / rollback experiments to billions of devices in just few hours, build highly scalable data systems to process billions of events daily.
Develop and grow a team of managers and senior engineers.
Set the vision, multi-year roadmap and execution plans for the platform in collaboration with senior cross-functional leaders across Apple.
Attract and develop talent, fostering a technical culture that encourages innovation and collaboration. This also includes nurturing technical leaders within AIML organization.
Drive engineering quality for the platform.
