AI Training for Mathematics Full-time

As an AI Trainer for Mathematics, you will be one of hundreds of Math PhDs/Masters/Bachelors that will teach & train the world’s leading AI models on intermediate to advanced-level math, which AI models currently struggle with.

Using WolfgramAlpha, Desmos (Graphing Calculator) and other resources, you will create challenging math problems, solve them step-by-step, and format for accuracy/clarity. Additionally, entry-level AI training will be provided, so no AI experience is needed.

The role is freelance, 100% remote, with no set schedule (you choose your hours).

Earnings:

• Hourly rate: up to $50 per hour USD, depending on your level of expertise. Uncapped earnings.

Responsibilities:

• Create challenging math problems & solve them step-by-step
• Leverage your math expertise to assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models
• Evaluate and rank math solutions generated by AI

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Junior or Senior undergraduates enrolled or have enrolled in a mathematics or related program
• Preferred: Graduate student, Master, PhD, or equivalent proficiency in mathematics or a related-field
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in writing
• Able to verify educational & professional information via our partner, Checkr

Nice to Have:

• Solid subject matter knowledge in other Math subfields
• Interest in AI and machine learning concepts

This is a freelance position that is paid on a per-hour basis. We don’t offer internships as this is a freelance role. You also must be authorized to work in your country of residence, and we will not be providing sponsorship since this is a 1099 contract opportunity. Base pay is determined by multiple factors, including the area of expertise, years of experience, and skillset needed for the project. Pay rates vary during the project lifecycle. For example, rates for onboarding are lower.
