AI Studio Team Manager Full-time

About the team:

Vonage AI Studio is a low-code / no-code process orchestration and virtual assistant conversation designer tool that empowers developers and non-developers alike to create and deploy customer engagement experiences that operate in natural language on any channel (Telephony, SMS, Whatsapp, HTTP and more).

What will you do?

As a team leader at Vonage you will lead a team of highly talented software engineers and will have end-to-end ownership of the product from an engineering perspective.

Your job would be to empower and drive the team to deliver a quality cloud product that is scalable, highly available and is flexible enough to grow and change along with the ever changing demands of the business.

We challenge our managers to drive all aspects of the business in their scope including hiring, talent management, product, engineering and business decisions.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in leading a team of at least 5 engineers.
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
• Knowledge of backend and front end stacks (Nodejs, Python, Typescript, Angular)
• Knowledge of relational and non relational DBs and memory-caches (Redis, Mongo, PostgreSQL, Elastic)
• Experience in AWS hosted environments and services running on it (Lambda, EKS, ECR, Amplify)
• Knowledge of systems running event buses and queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, SNS)
• Experience in agile software development.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Strong technical skills; ability to deep dive into complex problems.
