AI Research Intern Full-time

Founded in 2008, LightSpeed Studios has created over 50 games across multiple platforms and genres for over 4 billion registered users. It is the co-developer of worldwide hits PUBG MOBILE, Apex Legends Mobile, and League of Legends: Wild Rift (Chinese Version).

At LightSpeed Studios, we are at the forefront of game development and research. The mission of this internship is to conduct research on AI, including multi-modality, generative models for images/videos, and large-language models. We aim to advance the field of AI by conducting cutting-edge research and developing innovative technologies that push the boundaries of what is possible, as well as applying these technologies in game development.

As a Research Intern at LightSpeed Studios, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside researchers and engineers in the field. You will contribute to groundbreaking research projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help develop novel AI models, algorithms, and applications. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on advanced AI models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to design, implement, and evaluate new AI techniques.
• Develop and optimize machine learning models and architectures.
• Assist in the preparation of research papers, reports, and presentations for internal and external dissemination.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning literature.

Requirements:

• Currently attending a degree program in Australia, preferably master and above
• Experience in one area of computer science (e.g., Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc.)
• Experience contributing research projects or efforts, including publishing papers in major conferences or journals.
