AI Project Manager (contract) Full-time

Job Description

Lead projects proposing data-driven solutions for in-house e-commerce products, involving analytics, dashboard creation, and AI product development.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Propose and initiate data/AI utilization projects across Company departments or external clients.
• Manage and drive data/AI utilization projects, ensuring business contributions and reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis on user attributes, purchasing behaviors, and web activities.
• Drive system development involving the development department to operationalize data/AI utilization initiatives.
• Develop and optimize machine learning models, conduct proof of concept (PoC), and oversee implementation for marketing optimization and business KPI enhancement.
• Propose, develop, and implement automation tools using Generative AI to enhance operational efficiency.

Required skills

• Problem-solving skills for complex business issues, project management experience, and basic knowledge of data analytics and science.
• Experience launching and managing projects involving data science and development, with cross-organizational project management experience.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English communication, data analysis using Excel, and presentation skills using PowerPoint.

Preferred skills

• Desired skills include data analysis using Python, SQL, and BI tools, experience in data-related roles, consulting, or digital marketing industries, and presentation experience to top management.
