About the job

Consult on data-driven solutions for major e-commerce firm, including analytics, AI, ML model development, and product enhancement

Roles/Responsibilities

• Propose data and AI initiatives, manage projects, and report business contributions to internal and external clients.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis on user behavior and web purchasing, tailoring insights for optimization.
• Drive system development involving multiple departments to structure and enhance data and AI initiatives.
• Develop ML models, conduct PoC, and oversee implementation to optimize marketing strategies.
• Analyze business models, monitor KPIs, and develop dashboards for KPI tracking and operations enhancement.
• Propose, develop, and implement automation tools leveraging Generative AI for operational efficiency improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement in data-driven solutions.

Required skills

• Strong problem-solving skills for complex business challenges with logical thinking, analysis, and execution capabilities.
• Experience in launching and driving projects using data science and development, managing multiple organizations.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis, data science, databases, and understanding of ML algorithms.

Preferred skills

• Proficiency in Japanese and English for effective communication (TOEIC 800+), with presentation skills in PowerPoint.
• Excel proficiency for data analysis and document creation, with strong requirement definition and management skills.
• Experience in data analysis using Python, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau, or in model building.
