About the position:

As a Principal Product Manager, you’ll help drive strategy and execute the roadmap for key AI initiatives, a critical component of our HP platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating intricate insights into actionable strategies, primarily focusing on empowering IT leaders to improve workforce productivity. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to identify opportunities to integrate AI and machine learning technologies into WXP. You will define product requirements, manage the AI product lifecycle, and ensure the successful delivery of AI-powered features and solutions. You will also be a key player in establishing the vision for AI within the organization and driving its adoption and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the AI product strategy, working closely with the Data Science team, ensuring that AI initiatives align with overall business objectives and deliver measurable value to customers.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for AI product development-from ideation to execution. Define product requirements, prioritize features, and track progress to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of AI functionality.
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills; ability to work across in-person and virtual team environments.
• Hands-on technical skills with the inquisitiveness to learn products, work with them, and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
• Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a global and multicultural environment.
• Able to manage multiple work streams effectively and provide timely updates to leadership.
• Comfortable and effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
• 5+ years of product management experience at high growth software companies
• Startup experience a plus
• Strong background in managing a SaaS product roadmap.
• Ability to analyze data and insights to make informed decisions about product development and enhancements.
• Capacity to think strategically about the big picture while also focusing on the tactical details of the module.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Passion for understanding and meeting the needs of users, particularly IT Directors, to enhance their experience and productivity.
• Able to navigate through ambiguity and act decisively to realize team goals.
• Experience in one or more machine learning frameworks, such as Tensorflow/Keras, PyTorch, Spark MLlib, or Scikit-Learn.
• In-depth knowledge of one or more areas of deep learning, such as natural language generation (LLMs, Sentiment Analysis), recommendation systems, or computer vision.

The base pay range for this role is $146 650 up to $212 650 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
