AI/ML Team Lead Full-time

We’re looking for an AI/ML Team lead to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities:

• Manage an AI/ML team and contribute to their growth & career path.
• Lead and oversee resource allocation to ensure project deadlines are consistently met.
• Mentor team members on AI/ML best practices and drive technical excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and design machine learning models to achieve them, including defining metrics to measure success.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and apply them strategically.

Required skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications
• M.Sc. in ML related fields is a strongly preferred.
• Proven experience working on ML/AI projects building customer facing products
• People management experience.
• Hands-on experience in building ML pipelines, deploying models to production, and optimizing ML systems.
• Proven experience in delivering end-to-end ML solutions, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance of models in production.
• Proven ability to mentor, guide, and motivate a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists.
• In depth understanding of at least one or more of the following: classical ML models, deep learning models & LLM.
• Familiar with recent generative AI research.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
• Strong SW Engineering background.
• Excellent communication skills & presentation skills.
