AI/ML Engineer Full-time

Job Description

Infosys is seeking an AI ML Engineer with strong background in designing and deploying Machine Learning models using Python. Ideal candidate will work with clients to understand the issues they face, diagnose problems, design solutions and facilitate solution deployment on Cloud Platform. One will also have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions for clients by connecting various functions of cloud components. Ideally the candidate uses understanding of the problem to arrive at multiple solution alternatives keeping in mind the various stakeholders and assess the pros and cons of all the alternatives to arrive at the optimal solution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate must live within commuting distance of Richmond, VA Or Pennington, NJ or Charlotte, NC or Plano, Tx or be willing to relocate. Travel within the US may be required. 4 Days working from Office is Mandatory.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• At least 4 years of experience in developing programs/APIs using Python/Pyspark
• At least 4 years of experience in Data Science , ML, NLP, Deep Learning, Transform Models,
• At least 4 years of experience in Core Python programming, Multi-Threading, Multi processing, Handling Large Volume of Data, Error Handling, Load Balancing techniques.
• At least 4 years of experience in Cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure) and their AI services.
• At least 4 years of experience in Machine Learning Model development life cycle, software engineering principles, data engineering principles
• At least 1 years of experience in working with GEN AI, LLM’s, Open AI, Hugging Face, GitHub Copilot, Vector DB, RAG Models,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in ML Ops, Model Monitoring, Performance optimization.
• Experience in Load Balancing, GPU based processing, Performance Optimization
• Experience in developing of API on GCP/Azure/API Gateways
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools in AI-ML contexts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• High Impact client communication
• Domain experience in Banking, Finance, Capital Markets

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
