AI/ML Engineer Full-time

*Please note:This is a hybrid role and isnot eligiblefor100% remotework. Employees must live within a commutable distance of either the Charlotte or Raleigh offices and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office when needed.

Role: AI/ML Engineer – Consultant/Senior Consultant level

What You’ll Do

• Create high-level and detailed design plans for AI and ML production solutions, including selecting appropriate AI algorithms, data sources, infrastructure, and technologies that align with the organization’s goals and constraints.
• Develop python code and integrate with ML/AI management frameworks like MLflow, LangChain/LangSmith, Sagemaker/Bedrock, Vertex AI, Azure AI Studio, and more.
• Consult with business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, assess how AI techniques like machine learning, natural language processing etc. can address those needs
• Design the overall architecture of AI solutions including the relationships between various components
• Work with data engineers and scientists to ensure effective data collection and preparation for training AI models
• Continuously monitor the performance of AI solutions and implement improvements
• Keep updated with advances in AI technology and find opportunities to upgrade existing solutions

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ experience architecting and developing AI or machine learning solutions on platforms such as AWS, Databricks, Azure, Google Cloud and OpenAI.
• Software engineering and/or Data Engineering background, especially in one of the major clouds.
• Hands-on experience with Deep Learning, LLM, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch and other AI frameworks
• Experience putting ML/AI into production, and ability to talk through best practices and pitfalls.
