Introduction:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Engineer in our Computer Vision team. This role requires an expert in not only developing security measures for face and ID verification processes but also in pioneering face detection, face recognition, and anti-deepfake technologies. The successful candidate will lead efforts in enhancing the security and integrity of biometric processing systems against a variety of sophisticated threats.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the development of cutting-edge computer vision technologies in face detection, face recognition, and anti-deepfake measures alongside improving liveness detection and anti-forgery solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these solutions into existing platforms while considering scalability and performance.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements in computer vision and security to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
• Drive the strategic direction of the team, setting clear goals and metrics that align with the company’s objectives.
• Mentor and develop a team of computer vision engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

What We Look For In You

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on computer vision or machine learning.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in industry with focus on computer vision technology development, with hands-on projects implementation experience on liveness detection and anti-forgery measures.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the development of large-scale projects and innovations in areas such as liveness detection, face recognition, and anti-deepfake technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of and practical experience with AI and machine learning technologies, especially those applied to computer vision. Contribution to popular open-source projects on platforms like GitHub will be a plus
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of advanced technical professionals.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in startup environments and fast-paced companies or top-tier technology companies
• Published research or active engagement in the computer vision community, especially in topics relevant to biometric security.
