Your new role

We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of state-of-the-art AI/Generative AI algorithms and systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements, you will design scalable and efficient solutions and drive innovation in Generative AI technologies.

You will also work with stakeholders to understand and fulfill their AI needs, define AI solution objectives and ensure alignment with business outcomes and monitor AI industry trends and maintain industry knowledge.

These positions can be based in either Sydney or Canberra.

Your skills and experience

• Tertiary qualification in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related field. Master’s degree desirable.
• Extensive experience in designing AI applications and knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, particularly in the context of Generative AI and LLM
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI including LLMs, LangChain or similar tools, understanding of RAG of information retrieval and text generation.
• Expert programming skills (Python), familiar with data visualisation tools and the ability to collaborate effectively with peers.
• Proven ability to lead and manage projects with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
